Reuse is central to the circular economy, yet reuse organisations and their networks face significant challenges balancing social and environmental missions, whilst leveraging limited resources, limiting their ability to innovate and scale. Focusing on circular value chain, students from Bard’s MBA in Sustainability developed a toolkit for network facilitators to enable circular economy innovation and collaboration within reuse organisation networks.

In this session, Bard students will lead a panel of creative representatives from organisations who facilitate reuse and reuse networks across North America, including Furniture Link, Austin Creative Reuse, and ReUSE Minnesota, to discuss approaches for activating their networks to re-imagine donation, repair, and reuse. This session will highlight the essential role of reuse network facilitators in the circular economy through motivating, inspiring, and encouraging other reuse organisations to innovate, create circular value, and strengthen their communities.
