Actor Chevy Chase and his family have cut a video supporting the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College.
Chevy graduated from Bard in 1967 with an English major, and his daughter Cydney is a 2016 Bard graduate in Theater Arts. In the video, filmed on the campus overlooking the Hudson River, Chevy says of Bard that he “Loved it here. This is one of the great colleges, anywhere.”
Jayni Chase is a renowned environmental educator and leader, most recently as Board Chair of Friends of the Earth. She notes how proud she is that Bard is a leader in graduate education for sustainability. She says Bard’s #1 ranked programs are “needed now more than ever.”
Cydney adds that Bard is “THE place to come for a Masters in Sustainability.”
Bard College offers three different sustainability programs at the Masters Level:
The MBA in Sustainability. Ranked the #1 Green MBA and the #1 MBA for Non-Profit Management by Princeton Review. The MBA is designed for working professionals from across the US, with classes meeting one weekend per month in NYC, plus on-line.
MSc in Environmental Policy and Climate Policy. Designed for graduates who want a career “changing the rules,” Bard’s MSc programs feature a 9-month, in-person academic program, followed by a high-level professional internship at locations across the world and a capstone project.
MEd in Environmental Education. One of the few graduate programs in the country preparing alumni for leadership careers “changing minds,” helping K-12 and adult learners master the lessons of ecological literacy.
